A/N: part of @bella-feed's 100+ followers event!! <3 so glad to be a part of it, tysm bella! This was pretty rushed, since I've been busy with alot of things at once, but I did my best! I could've written a full fic if it weren't for my schedule :( | @sanaxo-o @dokyumms

You watch as Jeonghan shivers in the cold, his t-shirt—that looked so good on him just a moment ago—now drenched in rainwater.

“I told you we should’ve brought an umbrella,” you sigh, rubbing his shoulder to provide some sort of comfort even though you were almost completely wet by the rain too.

“I thought it wouldn't rain,” he mumbled in a pouty voice, putting a hand over yours. “They said the same thing yesterday but there wasn't a single drop of water from the sky.”

“Okay, now, that isn’t the problem, hannie.” You say, moving your hand away gently to pinch the drenched t-shirt he wore. “You’ll get cold if you stay like this.”

“Well,” the corners of his lips curled into a sly smile, his eyes gleaming with mischief. “It's already drenched, so making a run for it wouldn't hurt.”

Clicking your tongue, you hit his head gently with a faint smile. “Are you sick in the head?”

“Maybe, but it's either this or we are stuck here in this rusty bus stand for the entire day.” He sighs dramatically.

His words did make sense. The bus stand you both were stuck in due to the sudden heavy rainfall wasn't the best, but it did protect you two in some way. If only Jeonghan had listened to the weather forecast and brought an umbrella, you wouldn't have to suffer standing here now. The worst thing was the fact that your shared apartment was just a few blocks away, but it wasn't possible to reach there without splashing rainwater all over your lower body and drenching yourself in the rain.

But your boyfriend's suggestion didn't sound so bad either.

Biting your lower lip and folding your arms, you squint your eyes at him, considering his words.

You sigh, unfolding your arms. “That’s a good idea bu—”

“That's it!” Jeonghan chirps, already grabbing your hand.

And before you could realise, you two are running in the rain, water splashing everywhere. The raindrops fell on you almost harshly, but the excited grin playing on his lips made up for it. You laugh along with him, gripping on his hand tighter.

“Slow down! We’ll fall down!” You had to shout as the loud noise of the rain and splashing was deafening.

“C’mon, we're almost there!”

After what felt like two more minutes of giggling and running in the rain, you two finally reached the front porch of the apartment, coming to a halt.

Both of you were still laughing while panting to catch up with your breath.

“Do I look handsome like this?” Jeonghan asks, smiling slyly while flexing his plain white shirt that was drenched in the rain.

You look at him as if he was insane, but couldn't fight the smile. “Can I say no?” You joke, causing him to pout.

“You can't,” he says, then leans forward, puckering his lips. “But you can kiss me as a reward for being so smart.”

That made you laugh, and you reached up to cup his cheeks. “That wasn't so smart, but I'll do it since you're so desperate.”

He didn't bother to argue back, but leaned into your touch and waited for you to kiss him. But as you press your lips against his, his arms immediately wrap around your waist, pulling you in for more than just a peck.

You smiled into the kiss, but decided to kiss him back anyway.

A few seconds later, he slowly pulled back and grinned.

“This is so romantic, we should run back there and run back here again.” He says, but bursts into laughter when you hit him in the shoulder.

“You're crazy, Yoon Jeonghan.”

“You loveee me~”

“You're unbelievable.” You chuckle, pecking his lips.

It’s a perfect night, really.

Your warm body resting against his, limbs lazily tossed over each other as you snuggled and acted like lovesick fools. Moonlight poured in from the cracks of the curtains, casting small slivers on your face. Dazai couldn’t help but think of an angel when it came to you. A heavenly being that granted him a new life and forgave him for his past.

Nudging at your cheek with his nose, his voice came out in a sleepy tone.

“You should sleep, [name].”

His hand reached up to cup your face, playfully using his thumbs to gently close your eyelids like one would do with a body. He’d seen many people in the Mafia do that—try and make the deaths they caused seem more peaceful rather than a brutal end. Dazai himself never did that. No need in beautifying a simple concept of its finality and simplicity.

“Can’t. I know she’s about to wake up. It’s nearly eleven, and we put her to sleep at seven. I can tell.”

You shook your head stubbornly, looking at the baby monitor nearby where static noise and the occasional mix of a tiny snore and coo came from.

His little hellion.

Really, he had no clue how he got so lucky. First with the fact that he impregnated you and you carried his baby. Second with the fact that he had his own family now. And third with the fact she looked so much like him. Thick brown curls of hair on her head, big curious eyes that looked at him so adoringly. The tiny freckles and birthmarks scattered across her skin. She had some of your features, yes, but they were more subtle than his features.

Coupled with the fact that she was a bundle of energy and sass like him.

“I insist, pretty. Shinju needs her daddy too.”

He knew how much she made you tired with her habit for refusing to nap for more than an hour or two coupled with breastfeeding and the general responsibility and time that being a mom took. Dazai wanted to spend time with his daughter too and relieve your stress. You’d get sleep, he’d get to see Shinju. Win-win, in all accounts.

Hell, he even gave you puppy eyes in the darkness of your room.

“I…fine. But don’t wake me up if you screw up.”

Dramatically, he sighed and frowned, placing a hand on his heart.

“Does my ‘bella really think I’m an incompetent father? How heartbreaking and cruel of her!”

Much to his relief, you playfully groaned, pinching his sides lightly.

“I didn’t say that, dummy. God, I swear Shinju is more mature than you.”

Jesus, you were so insulting tonight. How was the baby that tried to put anything she could in her mouth more mature than him? Sure, he was a bit funny and childish, but he wasn’t a baby. Well, if he had his face buried in your boobs he’d be a baby. Still, it’s not his fault that they’re just so big and warm and squishy and seem to beg for his attention.

Which is what he soon did, resting his head on your chest while cupping them softly. You were wearing one of his shirts and a nursing bra underneath. He wished you weren’t wearing anything at all, but it wasn’t fair to ask for that when you recently gave birth just a mere two months ago. His libido lowered itself only for you. And when you did have sex—quickies when Shinju would nap—, he was so much nicer and loving than usual. The mother of his child didn’t deserve rough mean sex, no, she deserved gentle treatment under the sheets of their futon.

You deserved everything that he could possibly give you.

So when the small baby demon eventually began to wake up and whimper, he pressed a kiss onto your cheek and slowly got up, whistling a small tune under his breath before waking to the makeshift nursery nearby.

Opening the door slowly, he made his way to the crib and picked up his sniffling newborn, shushing her comfortingly.

“Shhh, it’s okay. Daddy’s here. We don’t want to wake up mama, okay?”

Her tiny hands balled up into fists, weakly moving around and occasionally hitting his chest. Sitting down on the rocking chair nearby, he fumbled around for one of her stuffed animals, grabbing the familiar bunny as he placed it in her arms.

“Look there, Shinju. It’s your bunny!”

From an authoritative Mafia executive to a tired loving father. Lord, Chuuya would be laughing his ass off. Or have that stupid face of confusion while he’d berate Dazai with questions about what unlucky woman had to bear his spawn. But what could that short alcoholic of a ginger say? No woman wanted to birth his babies.

He was quickly snapped out of his thoughts when Shinju’s tiny fingers began to grab at his chest, thinking he could feed her too. He could, just not straight from the source unlike you. Standing up, he went over to the mini-fridge nearby which contained bottles of your milk. It wasn’t too chilly, and so he carried it and the cooing baby to the kitchen where he warmed it up in the microwave.

After it warmed up, he carefully began to feed her, leaning back against the counter as he did so.

It still felt so odd to him. Caring and loving someone he helped to create. His self from ten years ago would never believe it—that they’d find love and even have a baby after escaping the Mafia. He had you to thank for that. The one who picked up the discarded pieces of his soul and welded it into the man he is today—a father first, and a detective second.

Kinda rushed the end but I couldn’t think of anything more :(

you’re known for playing the scariest, most unhinged characters in horror movies—serial killers, possessed girls, final girls who go absolutely feral in the third act.

fans joke that you must be terrifying in real life.

but then you show up to press tours in fluffy sweaters, giggling at every little thing, complimenting everyone on set, and bringing sweet snacks to interviews.

bella thought you were going to be intense when they first met you on a project together, but the second you introduced yourself with a bright smile, they immediately realized you were nothing like your roles.

you had the brightest smile, a little bounce in your step, and an energy that made bella’s brain short-circuit for a second.

“hi! oh my god, i’m so excited to meet you— i loved you in catherine called birdy! you were amazing!”

bella just blinked at you, still processing the fact that you were… cute?

“…thanks? you—uh— you’re literally the scariest person i’ve ever seen on screen.”

“oh? thanks!” you giggled, as if being being called scary was the biggest compliment.

the contrast kills them.

you’ll be covered in fake blood on set, staring down the camera with dead, haunted eyes… and then the moment the director yells cut, you light up like the sun.

“bells! did you see that? i finally nailed the knife throw scene!”

“yeah, i saw! you looked terrifying.”

“aw, thank you!”

you always ask them if they’re okay after filming violent scenes together.

even if it’s fake, you hate the thought of actually scaring them.

bella thinks it’s adorable.

“i didn’t actually hurt you, right?”

“no, love, you’re fine.”

“promise?”

“promise.”

fans lose their minds over the contrast in your personalities.

there are a million edits of you being absolutely terrifying in a movie, followed by a clip of you smiling like a golden retriever at an interview.

bella is so endeared by how sweet you are.

you always hype them up at events, shower them with compliments, and send them voice notes filled with cheerful rambling about your day.

bella’s favorite thing in the world is watching you during press tour and interviews being the most excited and bubbly person in the world.

fans always comment on how bella stares at you with this tiny, amused smile while you talk at 100 miles per hour.

it’s only natural how you make every interview feel like you’re just there casually chatting with an old friend.

the interviewers loved it, fans loved it and bella absolutely loved you.

interviewer: “you played such a terrifying villain in this one! how do you get into that mindset?”

you: “oh gosh, great question! i actually made a whole playlist to get into the mood, lots of eerie violin music and creepy sound effects—OH, and i practiced my creepy smile in the mirror for weeks!”

bella, watching from the side, completely smitten: yeah, that’s my girl.

fans love your dynamic.

bella’s more reserved, a little awkward in interviews, while you’re this sunshine of a person who says the most unhinged yet adorable things.

fan edit caption: “how are they even dating. this is a golden retriever and a black cat.”

bella is so protective of you even though you are the one who plays terrifying killers and vengeful ghosts.

if someone says anything remotely rude about you in interviews or online, bella is immediately defensive.

“babe, i can handle it. i literally killed a man with a spoon in blood moon.” you joke trying to light up the mood.

“yeah, well, i’ll do worse if they talk about you like that again.”

they love watching horror movies with you because while they expect you to be unfazed, you actually hide under the blankets and scream at jump scares.

“acting is different, bella! i know what’s gonna happen in those!”

sometimes, when you’re alone, they catch you practicing creepy horror monologues in the mirror.

it’s both terrifying and weirdly attractive.

the biggest hazard of dating you? you accidentally scare them all the time.

they secretly love it, though.

if you have to film some really intense horror scenes, bella always checks in on you afterward.

even if you say you’re fine, they know when you need a little extra love.

they’ll bring you snacks, rub your back, and let you ramble about the scene until you feel better.

they’re always so soft with you, even when you pretend you’re totally fine.

after filming intense horror scenes, you have a little tradition where bella helps you “cleanse the bad vibes.”

that usually means cuddling on the couch, watching the most lighthearted movies possible—disney, studio ghibli, even kids’ cartoons.

bella always runs their fingers through your hair, grounding you.

“you back to my cute little girlfriend yet? or do i need to exorcise you?”

“hmmm… maybe i’m still a little possessed. you might need to kiss the demon out of me.”

“…you’re such a menace.” but they kiss you anyway.

if you’re ever feeling insecure or worried about how people see you, bella is the first to hype you up.

“babe, you’re literally one of the most talented people i know.”

“but what if people only see me as creepy and not, like, actually… likable?”

especially when you wear something delicate and angelic, proving to everyone that you’re just as soft as you are scary.

you giggle. “you always know just what to say.”

fans think bella is the scary one in the relationship.

it’s hilarious.

like you would post a pic of you hugging bella from behind, grinning brightly while they look vaguely intimidating and fans would comment stuff like:

bella, in the comments: “i ask myself this every day.”

despite the teasing, bella loves how sweet you are. you’re literally such a good, lovely person.

after long days of filming, there’s nothing better than you wrapping your arms around them, whispering about how proud you are.

“you were amazing today, love. i’m so lucky i get to watch you do what you love.”

and bella thinks— they’re the lucky one.

no matter how many terrifying roles you play, to them, you’re just their sweet, soft girlfriend who happens to be insanely talented at pretending to be scary.

Not including "Olympic" or any of the last names among the members, do you have any other ideas that could serve as a title for the Cullen coven? It just seems odd how the vampire clans are referred to by either their leader's name (James, Sancar, Hilda, etc) or geography (Egypt, Denali or the Amazons). I honestly doubt the Irish coven isn't a family unit, and maybe the Egyptians have developed a somewhat similar layout. Denali doesn't make sense considering the mixed background of all of the members (Russian, Spanish, North American, French if you include Laurent too). I don't think "North American" fits the Cullens either since they've resided in places outside the US (not 100% certain though). I'm curious, what could be titles for each coven?

My sense is that these names would develop organically over time, sort of like how surnames developed in Europe. "Oh that's Tom the baker," eventually becomes Tom Baker, "Tom who lives on the hill," becomes Tom Hill, etc. So I think in that way naming them after their founder or their location makes sense. "Siobhan and her coven in Ireland = Irish Coven" "the nomadic coven Hilda founded" = Hilda's Coven.

So I don't really know what other names might be used. I guess they could be something like "the Golden Coven" from their eyes or "The Vegetarian Coven", but the Denali could be that too. Perhaps the Denali were grandmothered in as "The Succubus Coven" and the new members just have to sort of deal with that name even though Carmen, Eleazar and Garrett never fit that description, which lets the Cullens claim the Gold/Veggie mantel.

Other reasons I Don't Care For the term 'Olympic Coven?' It's not their land, it's Quileute land, Makah land, etc. Claiming "Olympic Coven" for them adds insult to injury on that front. Also it erases the entire history of the coven before this point. I know in an out-of-universe sense they only came into existence when Bella entered their lives, but Carlisle's been around for 350+ years and the coven had existed for almost 90ish years before the events of the story. I know it's Bella's story, but this isn't Bella's Coven. She didn't found it, it didn't come into existence in Forks, and Carlisle was already well-known before the events of BD; that's how he was able to gather all the witnesses.

And it seems SM herself dropped the idea after the Vampire Index (which to me sort of read as a joke anyway? Didn't Jacob have a line like "someone needs to provide an index so I can remember all the bloodsuckers' names!" and then "see Vampire Index").

The Yellow Eyes, St. Carlisle and his disciples, that weird coven that starves themselves, Carlisle and his gifted followers, 'that one vampire who has a job and house and wife and kids, lololol", etc this all makes more sense to me than "The Olympic Coven." I guess the most poetic might be like "The Golden Ones" or something, but I imagine to other vampires it's less "golden" and more "sickly yellow."

I'll answer for the 3 fandoms I'm currently writing for

CAoS: Hmm, I think have Lilith's request for Sanctuary granted bc that would've derailed all the shit that followed.

Witcher: Yennefer realize it's not safe to leave Tissaia alone, so she refuses to do so until Tissaia decides to stay with her.

Twilight: have someone other than Stephanie Meyer write it to avoid all the problematic and questionable shit she included? 😂 No, if I could only do 1, it would be to have Bella and Tanya meet and realize their mates instead of Bella and Edward.

💭 What inspires you and your writing?

To get an idea - Watching the show because my brain is an overactive little bitch that's constantly thinking about 'what would happen if this/that happened'.

Going from an idea to actually writing - watching fan videos for mannerisms and talking to others is a big one.

To continue writing - Honestly, engaging with the readers through comments - ESPECIALLY their theories - is huge. It's one of the few things that keeps my motivation up on longer fics where there's no end in sight. Especially since I tend to have a bit of imposter syndrome and can fall back on daydreaming scenarios and well, daydreaming is usually enough to get all the dopamine when finishing the story usually doesn't give anything additional (yay adhd brain and the ever growing pile of unfinished projects 🥲).

🚦What sort of endings do you prefer to write: ambiguous, bad, happily ever after, etc.?

So, I am pretty much incapable of writing or reading something that doesn't have AT LEAST a hopeful ending. I'm a huge angst writer/reader and can get sucked into a characters thoughts/emotions rather easily. I enjoy being absolutely destroyed along the way but I need that pick me up at the end or my mind continues to spiral negatively - in a not good way. For my stories, typically the more the characters suffer, the happier their story will end. But yeah, if I had to pick an Ao3 tag to describe my writing, it'd 100% be 'Angst with a happy ending'.

Because most of my ideas are sparked by 'what if' questions when watching a show, I generally like to start at a canon event and diverge - sometimes drastically - so it becomes its own thing. The more it diverges, the more fun it becomes because I honestly have no idea what's going to happen next. I WISH I could write non-magical AUs, but as of yet, I have never succeeded. Maybe 1 day!

I beg my followers forgiveness, but in the end, I was unable to kill off Uncle Pepe with bad pufferfish nigiri (after I had either him or Shaowen learn the recipe, it wouldn't come out poor quality, and I wanted to waste as little time as possible), so I resorted to have him die of overheating (there was already a heatwave so it made things easiest).

Just curious (heh), have you thought about letting Vidcund have an alien baby too? Since it was a scripted thing (and it could add a bit of drama from Cass, since Bella's abduction went a bit awry). Or you're leaving it up to random chance via the telescope?

I don't really follow scripted events, since I like to stir some chaos and see what the Sims actually want to do (tho I don't play 100% wants based, of course, I'm not a masochist). So far Vidcund has not been interested in even touching a telescope, so I just don't force him to do it. I honestly like the idea of each brother having his own "field" of science they focus on and in Vidcund's case in my game it seems to be robotics. I think it fits nicely to his rivalry with Loki as well.

Another thing is the aliens are slowly overtaking the genetic pool both in and out of Strangetown right now. I'm not necessarily against them being all over the place, but I want to still try preserving some diversity before every family tree turns green.

...I am vaguely considering writing a canon-compliant MM Bellisle story. Well, canon-compliant through early New Moon, anyways.

Yeah, yeah, I know it's not 100% canon compliant, but it'll be 99%, okay? Because it would be Twilight and early New Moon dead on, except with gay Beau instead of straight/bi Bella. I actually have a plan, believe it or not... and as expected, Annie enabled me again!

Doing something in the canon Twilight world (minus the Beau/Bella swap... and including the sparkling vampires lmao) with the canon characters also means writing past Beau/Edward and an asshole Edward who dumps him. I even have plans for the Carlisle/Esme thing and the other four vampires, so that'll be a wild ride for sure.

But... I swear I have plans! Excellent plans at that!

Canon compliant only means going along with Twilight, Midnight Sun, and very early New Moon. I can avoid Jacob's character assassination, so he and Beau can actually be legit friends and Beau can actually recover and move on. I HAVE PLANS.

...but it would be totally dissociated from the Winter Light world.

Except for the fact that I'm writing it, so my only requirement is to literally follow the words in the books. Any backstory, events or information shared after early New Moon is stuff I can throw away. And having a 'canon-compliant' MM Bellisle fic seems interesting...
